AB Cersaie 2021: Reinventing the marble

After a year of forced absence, AB (Azulejos Benadresa) returns to Cersaie with a new location: HALL 26, STAND B183. The Spanish brand attends the Bologna fair with new and studied collections that update the classic and natural essence of marble to integrate it into the new architectural concepts of integral decoration.

The first room setting presents one of the latest developments. MEDICI, an innovative collection that redefines the concept of calacatta marble with imposing veins that bring strength and intensity. With its three chromatic possibilities (White, Gold and Blue), its variety of formats (260×120 cm, 120×120 cm, 60×120 cm, 80×160 cm and 80×80 cm) and its two finishing options (polished and natural) this series offers an extensive range of aesthetic and decorative possibilities.

The innovation is not only evident in the designs, but also in the incorporation of new and extraordinary colors to exceptional series such as ICARO: an exclusive noble marble with a design rich in veins that bring unparalleled depth. The successful Icaro Dark is joined this year by the new colours Blue and Musk. An intense blue and green in large format pieces (260×120 cm, 120×120 cm and 60×120 cm) in polished finish that complete the elegance and luxury that characterize these series.

A new bold green colour stars one of AB’s novelties in Cersaie. This is INDI, an original design full of contrasts that has different shades and subtle veins that go through it. Very striking, Indi manages to attract all eyes thanks to its color and the imposing of its formats (260×120 cm, 120×120 cm, 60×120 cm).

Sophisticated, striking and original, ANIKSA is presented in one of the highlighted room scene. A game of visual textures with 3D effect that are captured on an extraordinary Onyx marble, with a mixture of warm and cold tones. Its imposing large format (260×120 cm and 120×120 cm) and its continuity make it perfect for creating exceptional spaces.

The proposal of AB in Cersaie is completed with collections inspired by other materials such as cement, which appears on the facade of the stand through the NORWIK series. A collection full of sobriety and versatility that brings a serene elegance to the spaces.

Once inside, the marble becomes the protagonist with three spaces covered with RAVENA, TESSINO and QUEEN.

RAVENA is a marble with white background and stylized golden and grey veins that propose a captivating game of intensities. TESSINO, on the other hand, is an elegant marble with a wide range of colors adorned with white veins that fill it with nuances. Finally, QUEEN is an exceptional collection inspired by onyx marble, with a sophisticated design and colours that create spaces full of distinction.

Next, the stand shows PIATRA, a collection with a lot of presence and versatility that reinterprets natural stone. It is perfect for decorating both exterior and interior areas thanks to its neutral tones and the textures of its designs in multiple formats and three colors.

In the following ambients, the MARMARA and IRHAM series share the inspiration in marble, but have very different styles. IRHAM is a collection that draws its strength from the harmony of its shades in grey, enriched with the subtle touch of very fine veins in golden tone.  MARMARA, on the other hand, plays with the contrast between the white background and its grey and blue or gold veins, which stand out to create an extraordinary collection that exudes luxury and distinction.

Finally, inspired by the most artisanal ceramic tradition, the XSAB range is expanded with the launch of KARMA, a collection in 7.5×30 cm format that has its own catalogue to discover its multiple placement possibilities. Developed in eight colours, KARMA opens a new stage in the concept of universal decoration to suit all tastes and trends.
